STAND BACK FOR A CLEAR VIEW
BOB'S BRAIN DROPPING
When preparing stills or content for a videoboard or marquee, often times, the editor sits so close to such a big screen that everything is easily seen in intricate detail. Unfortunately, that is not how it is seen when it is displayed on a video board. Fine detail is often lost or worse than that, it becomes a hodge podge of undistinguishable colors.
Is your content readable? Here is an easy trick to see if it is. Stand 10 to 15' back from the editing computer screen and see how it looks. If the message you are trying to convey is understandable from that distance, it will probably be legible on your videoboard or marquee.
